1959: Birth on October 11 in Alkiza, Guipúzcoa. 1978: He begins to take an interest in sculpture, as an autodidact, and with the help of the painter Jesús Gallego. After having presented a piece in the IVº Certamen Juvenil competition in Donostia-San Sebastián, with which he won the First Prize, he decided to become a sculptor. 1980: He is selected for the Certamen de Artistes Noveles Guipuzcoanos competition, held in Donostia-San Sebastián. 1982: Realization of his first individual exhibitions in Elduain and Lizartza, Guipúzcoa. 1983: He is selected for the Ertibil 83 competition. 1984: One of his works is installed in the Martutene district, in Donostia-Saint Sébastien. 1985: Exhibition at the Caja de Ahorros Provincial in Donostia-San Sebastián. 1986: He goes to an international symposium in Bulgaria, with a travel grant granted by the Basque Government. An exhibition of his work is inaugurated at the Sala de Cultura de la Caja Laboral- Euskadiko Kutxa in Aretxabaleta, and is then presented in other rooms in various localities of the Basque Country. The sculpture Baserriaren barneko zuhaitza, executed in oak wood, is installed on the facade of the Town Hall of Legorreta, Guipúzcoa. 1996: He settles for five years in Düsseldorf, where he resides as guest artist at the Museum Insel Hombroich, for an experimental project entitled Arte y naturaleza, alongside other German artists and musicians, and where he discovers the study of oriental philosophies. 1997 The IKB Deutsche Industriebank installs three of its wooden parts at its new headquarters in Düsseldorf. 1998: Exhibition at the Palacio Aramburu de Tolosa, Guipúzcoa. Realization of two exhibitions in Madrid, in the Arte Contemporáneo and Xanon Galerie de Arte galleries. 2006: Realization of an outdoor sculpture exhibition in Tolosa, Guipúzcoa, and exhibition at the Ispilu Arte Gallery in Zarautz. His work is included in the exhibition El cincel y la palabra, presented at the Sala Kubo of the Palacio Kursaal in Donostia-San Sebastián. 2007: The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao inaugurates Laboratorios. He participates in Naturaldia10 with the realization and the installation of a panel for the event in the house of culture of Tolosa.
