Emilie Gafner is a French and Swiss artist born in 1982. She lives and works in Paris since 2009. She is graduated from the École cantonale d’Art du Valais, Switzerland (she received the CIV award for her diploma work). In France, she studied cinema and worked as an assistant director on several movie sets.
During her studies at the ESRA in Nice, she was awarded the Kodak prize in 2008 for the best short. She has been exhibiting her work since 2010. Emilie Gafner also works as a photographer for theatre companies or bands.
