Carl Dahl is an American sculptor born in Phoenix (Arizona). Carl Dahl's work reflects his experience as a child growing up amid the harsh beauty of the Arizona desert. The raw, whitewashed landscapes beaten by the sun and dry winds contrast with the fleeting beauty of the wild flowers and the hesitant but tireless life force of the inhabitants of the desert.
