Yann-Eric Eichenberger

France Born in: 1974

Yann-Eric Eichenberger, born in 1974, lives and works in the South of France.

He draws his inspiration from his passion for trees from the hills of Provence and has been pursuing his work in the woods for more than twenty years, in search of his "Vegetal double".

Many of his works have been entrusted to art foundries to create original works in "mirror-polished" bronze, resulting in interior artworks as well as monumental pieces.

"Convinced of the profound aesthetic contained in the personality of each tree, I penetrate the curves of the wood to discover the ever new image of the human being, finally reconciled with himself in his vegetal double.

The lines of character of these trees fixed in bronze become fossil traces, a mixture of Colonial Being and a feeling of Immortality.

On a daily basis, the elevation of the planes always pushed to the extreme, leads me towards the monumental ascent, in search of the giants, mothers of the Earth and of Mankind."

The works of the artist are present on many national and international events: Art Untitled Miami, Art Elysées Paris, Art Up Lille, Art Lausanne, Art Luxembourg...
