Born in Méricourt -Yvelines in 1941 Secondary studies - 1956/1959 School of Applied Arts - Paris 1960/1966 School of Fine Arts in Paris 1966 Prix de Rome 1971/2006 Professor at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris 1993 / 2006 Director of the Beaux-Arts Workshops in Paris 13th Honorary President of the Réalités Nouvelles Salon Born in Yvelines in 1941, Michel Gemignani studied at the School of Applied Arts in Paris before joining that of the Beaux-Arts in the capital. Since his release from the latter, the artist has multiplied the awards and his art is recognized today. Prix de Rome in 1966, Honorary President of the Réalités Nouvelles Salon, he has held numerous exhibitions and public commissions. The painter nourishes his art with a wide variety of themes and questions about what surrounds him. His abstraction uses material, color, line and poetry, endowing his works with great symbolic power.
