“Let it Fall” features a female figure in a collage composition. Made from torn pieces of paper, this work demonstrates a daring artistic destructuring. The woman's face, depicted in black and white, immediately attracts attention. His intense and piercing gaze raises questions about his history and his experiences. The collage of torn paper symbolizes the different facets of his personality, which can be deconstructed and recomposed over time. This depiction of the woman with a bra also highlights issues related to the sexualization and objectification of the female body in our society. “Let it Fall” invites reflection on the condition of women and how our society can break down and rebuild women according to its standards and expectations. The work highlights the complexity and strength of femininity, while highlighting the challenges and pressures women face. Originally from Lille, I now live in Bobigny in Seine-Saint-Denis. I create analog collages which for me are so many reflections of intimate contradiction. Made of contrasts, of elements that collide or merge, they are composed of fragments of paper assembling like a strange puzzle to give birth to faces, silhouettes, interior landscapes. Strongly influenced by fantastic cinema, I bring together disparate snippets taking the form of dreamlike creatures or scenes.
Starting from a very intuitive work, guided by the texture of the paper, the colors and shades of black and white, as well as the emotions expressed, I end up without realizing it with strange self-portraits. As if in this work of the fragment, of the encounter, almost alchemical, my works escaped me. After the confusion, the lost unity reappears and reveals a hidden harmony. Top of the form I like to raise questions, the loss of bearings. Invite exploration in the meanders of paper and the psyche. To cause trouble and comfort.
Passionate about art and culture since always, I first studied them, before promoting them through several professions until the day I started myself. I responded one evening to an imperious need to create. It was spontaneously towards collage that I turned, creating my first work with the means at hand. The experience was galvanizing and I pursued it. I had found a means of expression, a tactile and creative activity. However, my production was very episodic for several years. It intensified one day in March 2020, a month synonymous with multiple personal changes, coupled with the first confinement. It is now an integral part of my life.

Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?
For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.
To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. If your offer is rejected, you will be refunded the total amount paid automatically. The gallery can also propose a counter-offer for the acquisition of the artwork.

Where can I have my order delivered?
Artsper delivers worldwide!
However, please note that once your order reaches its destination, it may be subject to VAT or other customs fees. These charges are beyond our control and you will be responsible for paying them (this is indicated at the ‘checkout’ first step).
Select the delivery address of your choice. Please make sure that someone is present to receive your order.
If your billing address is different to your delivery address you can specify this at the checkout.
Return and cancellation
You can return the artwork without needing to provide a reason or pay a penalty fee up to 14 days after receiving your order.
In the case that the right of withdrawal is exercised in the aforementioned time frame, the price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed by us as soon as the gallery has received the artwork and notified us.
Artsper will manage the return of the work and will bear the cost of returns (which will either be paid by you and refunded by Artsper or directly paid by Artsper).
The artwork must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging (or equivalent).
