Cathy Marre

From Franco-Syrian roots, born in 1980 in St Etienne, where she studied Visual Arts, Cathy Marre became a Painter by rubbing shoulders with multiculturality and the taste for elsewhere. His characters are a pretext. A pretext to pierce the thin and delicate layer of clouds, in a work of meticulous development and reconstruction of the different phases of memory, of time that passes and to come. It is in a game of chemistry, combining the possibilities of colorful encounters and interbreeding of patterns, that Cathy Marre leaves the trace of her mixed and sometimes contrasting influences from East and West. This is how she gives birth to a duality on which she tilts permanently and which results in relationships marked by poetry, gentleness and often dreamlike in nature. She lives in the Drôme des Collines, where her inspiration mingles with the close natural environment that surrounds her.
