Artwork location: France
This captivating artwork features a unique, intriguing and deeply symbolic sculptural installation. It consists of three sculpted aluminum figures, placed inside a transparent glass cube.
The shiny material of the figures contrasts strikingly with the transparency and fragility of the glass, creating an immediate visual tension. The three figures are frozen in a contemplative posture, their bodies slightly inclined, as if engaged in a mysterious silent conversation. The absence of facial details allows the viewer to project their own interpretations onto these anonymous figures, accentuating the universal and timeless character of the scene.
The artist manages to fuse impressive technical skill with philosophical reflection, resulting in a piece that is both aesthetically captivating and intellectually stimulating. This work invites the viewer to question their own place in the world and the nature of their interactions with others.

Presentation
Marcus Egli bought a hardware store with his wife in 1980, and it was then that he had contact with aluminum and he really liked the material, he liked it so much that it became his favorite material later on. In his business he worked with this capricious material for a long time in order to get satisfactory results, because he really liked the look.
Marcus's works revolves mostly around a character he calls the "Hominium" which is a hieratic statuette with a smooth face that reflects its environment. The artist likes to play on the contrast and on the material effects, his figures have a rough physical body and polished faces.
The artist likes to compose and arrange his "hominiums" combine them, manipulate them and update his small statuettes clusters.
In his sculptures, Marcus Egli questions the viewer about his worldview. His pieces, deal with different topics from the irrational, the mundane and abundance to isolation.
