Elisabeth Sabala

Elisabeth was born in Barcelona, 1956. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and Industrial Design at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Barcelona. She is a well-established Catalan artist, specializing in contemporary painting of female figures. Since 1981, she has had several national and international exhibitions in Monaco, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Hong Kong, among others. His works are presented in renowned art galleries, at contemporary art fairs and have been purchased by private collectors as well as by several Museums including the “Fundacion La Caixa Barcelona”, “Museo Wùrth Logrono” and the “ Luxembourg Museum in Paris ”. Elisabeth Sabala has been the subject of numerous publications edited by Galerie Kamil Monaco and has illustrated works by authors such as Ima Sanchis edited by Ambit Barcelona. She has also won several awards in her native Spain, and currently lives and works in Masdenverge. Sabala uses explosive colors: her insight, unique style and sense of humor combine to make you smile and invite you to reflect on the very nature of her existence.
