The name of Fabiana Peña is part of the new generation of Colombian artists where lines, colors and shapes, pointing to the enigmatic laws of dreaming.

Her figures, seem once again confirm that the act of painting is complemented by the act of poetic language, and so captures the artist in that succession of tense moments of contemporary man, to whom reality is fragmented and not to question the world, but to establish with him a deep meditative monologue.

Her art work, sometimes making dashed diluted to be complemented by the viewer's retina, is a fusion of suspended geometries, so notorious in some of the most important artists of abstract expressionism, and it is precisely this abstraction supported by its underlying drawing, where the painter pours all its essence, to give us in each canvas that levitated poetic prevailing beyond the initial contemplation.
