Biography
Ludovic Isidore is a French painter who was born in 1968. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Nimes, where he was introduced to engraving. He currently lives in Uzès and dedicates exclusively to painting since 2001.
His pieces painted with acrylics are part of a figurative world, sensible and mysterious at the same time, tinged with oneirism. "I play with the seriousness of a child, several techniques attract me. I often prefer spontaneity and roaring visions. Flowers are a pretext for colors, energy, transparency. Calligraphy signs become crowds, silhouettes appear, a figure emerges from a landscape. And then the canvas rests, I take againit; everything becomes clear" declares the artist.
Ludovic Isidore exhibits his work regularly in France and abroad since 2000, he has participated in various contemporary art fairs in Nimes, Avignon, Arles, Versailles and Paris. The "Château de la Tour d'Aigues" and the "Eveche d'Uzès" have organized solo exhibition of the artist.
