Biography

After an initial career as an editor, Marie Dorigny, 64, joined the world of photography in December 1989, during the Romanian revolution. Her reports on child labor, contemporary forms of slavery and the condition of women in developing countries have since been published in most international newspapers and magazines.

Her latest work, “Displaced, women in exile”, a report on refugee women, was produced in 2016 for the European Parliament.

Marie Dorigny has been exhibited numerous times in recent years, whether at Visa pour l'Image, the MEP (European House of Photography) or more recently, at the Parlementarium in Brussels.

Three monographs also present his photographic work: “Enfants de l'ombre” by Editions Marval (1993), “Cachemire, le paradis perdu” by Editions du Chêne (2004) and finally, “L'Inde invisible” by Editions CDP (2008). ).
