Ann Masseaut-Franchet

His first artistic emotion came at a very young age, when he saw a work by Leonardo da Vinci. She then discovers how much Art can upset. She understands that the work is a link between men, that it creates a disturbance, that it is inspired and leads us to the discovery of our own emotions, that it makes us feel the intangible that makes us happy. 

She therefore keeps, precious, this attraction for Art and painting in particular. Ann now invites us to discover the poetic look she has on our humanity. The faces, attitudes, postures of her women and girls reflect the human soul in what is most innocent, amazed, mischievous, or melancholy. 

Ann enriches her vocabulary revealing a partition of feelings, states of being by provoking a tender stop on spontaneous or furtive attitudes. There is no decor, no staging, no descriptive portrait only of the moments hidden from daydreaming, envy, attentiveness, tenderness, friendship or expectation .... Attitudes are suspended, as if out of time. We enter the internalized universe of each. Everything is said there in silence and without the limits of space that dare to hold back.
