Biography
M.A MARTIN (1938-2017)
Was fascinated by natural light, the way it changed colors, shapes. Nature was an inexhaustible source of inspiration. The places where he also lived: Anjou, Tunisia, Valence and Drôme des Collines. All of this is present, suggested, moving in his work.
In his painting, abstraction calls for a different perspective. In the space of the painting, the dialogue of shapes and colors takes shape. Language which reveals to us the intuitions, the emotions of the painter. For our pleasure.
