Mari Amman

Norwegian American photographer Mari Amman works internationally on projects in public and private spaces.  A recurring  theme encountered in a lot of her work reflects on how humans relate to nature. Texture and movement are deployed  as aesthetic devices that often lend her images a meditative character. Mari Amman lives and works in Norway and the USA. She has won numerous prizes and artist residencies. Her work is held in private and public collections.
