Artist Statement:

My name is Matthew Jones (Jones), I am a UK based artist located in the Essex countryside. I studied Graphic design then specialised in Fine Art, finishing my studies in the early 90's. I worked as a freelance illustrator from London then New York in the advertising and editorial industry. My daily focus is to create visual stimuli using various mixed mediums breaking down the barriers whilst discovering new techniques and procedures. Inspired by nature and natural corrosion from weathered walls to the misty morning haze, I attempt to capture a moment in time to complement a room setting. My journey never ends!!
