Presentation

Câline Farah is a Lebanese-French artist born in Beirut. Deeply inspired by all forms of beauty—art, nature, and the divine—she initially studied law and worked for many years in Lebanon and Dubai in legal and administrative roles. But the pull of art was always present. Realizing life is too short not to pursue her passion, she chose to transform her path and follow her true calling.

Her love for painting began at the age of four, with “Madame Blanche," a graceful art teacher with porcelain skin and platinum hair, who left a lasting impression. One of Câline's earliest memories is painting a pebble to gift her father—a moment that marked the start of a lifelong journey.

In 2005, she began taking painting classes in Dubai and later in Lebanon. What started as a creative escape soon grew into a deep passion, leading her to commit fully to art. She has since been teaching herself continuously, driven by a powerful inner calling.

Over the years, her style evolved from realism and figurative work to abstraction, a realm that continues to captivate her. She works across media—oil (her first love), acrylic, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, and gold leaf—exploring textures and techniques in a constant pursuit of reinvention.

Since 2019, Câline has dedicated herself entirely to her practice, participating in numerous group exhibitions and contributing to charity auctions in New York, Dubai, and Beirut in support of causes like cancer care and student scholarships.

Having lived through the many chapters of the Lebanese war, Câline is drawn to expressing hope and joy through her work. Her paintings reflect a vivid sense of light and color, shaped by her meticulous nature and her ongoing search for harmony. Her art speaks a quiet yet powerful visual language—one that evokes emotion, tells stories, and inspires compassion.
