Nancy Barwell

Nancy Barwell is a Franco-Algerian artist who lives in France. She has a training of studies in medicine, psychoanalysis, plastic arts and art history. Together with her husband Philip Barwell has made films and testimonies on the history of Algeria from 1954 to today. The first of the series was Meeting with Maïssa Bey which was also presented at the Institut du Monde Arabic in Paris. Her professional exhibition activity began in 1994 by participating in numerous collective and personal exhibitions.
