Sylvie Ajacques is an award-winning painter and sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally.
Biography
Originally from the Paris region, Sylvie Ajacques was born with a passion for drawing and painting. A trip to Zimbabwe and another to Nepal were decisive in her desire to devote herself to painting to bear witness to the emotions felt in these distant lands. Her diploma in Decorative Painting from Paris allowed her to practice the profession of Decorative Painting, and subsequently, she devoted herself mainly to animal painting and sculpture.
It is at the foot of the Vaucluse hills that the artist has settled, in one of these villages radiating light from which she draws the energy for her work. Specializing in the animal world, by staging its environment, Sylvie Ajacques seeks to highlight its characteristic features: strength, weakness, elegance, cruelty, charisma... Trying to understand it better in order to better respect it.
