Yacouba Kouyate

Born in Bamako, Yacouba Kouyaté began his career in management, particularly accounting.
But all these years he's had a dream. Passionate about drawing and painting, he seized an opportunity and entered the Balla Fasséké Kouyaté Conservatory of Arts and Multimedia through a competitive entrance exam, where he spent three wonderful years. He studied design before joining the Diouné and Brothers workshop, with whom he created numerous fashion accessories (handbags, shoes, earrings).
Through his designs and discoveries, he decided to embark on a different style of work: pen on paper.
