Born in 1952 in Minerviu (Corsica France), he lives and works between Paris and Corsica.
After studying visual arts, he embarked on a double activity as a visual artist and filmmaker, and began his research as a boarder at the 'Académie de France' in Rome.

His work has been seen, among other famous places, at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Georges Pompidou Center (Paris), the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Kassel Documenta, the Skulptur Projekte in Münster, the Venice Biennale, Seibu Museum, Hiroshima Art Document, etc...

His work appears in many public collections, in France and abroad. He has created monumental works such as a Metro station in Toulouse or the Nymphéas in Nantes.
