Nurit Shany

Nurit Shany is an Israeli painter born in 1956. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, Nurit Shany lives and work in his hometown Kibbut Gvat, in the Israeli Valley. Nurit Shany's paintings are inspired by his immediate environment, he creates realistic pieces that depict seascapes and beach shores. The surfaces of his paintings are smooth, Nurit Shany puts great attention to detail, the artist has prove to be very meticulous. For the painter, the words, the names and the images are always connected ones with the others symbolically, giving sense to reality.
