Sicioldr, is a young Tuscan artist.
He takes us on a journey to an imaginary world, filled with secrets and myths. His dreams and visions skim through darkness, obscurity and forbidden sensuality.

In Sicioldr's elegant paintings, one can without any doubt find find the same characteristics of Dutch painters like Van Eyck or Rembrandt. The face and gestures of his subjects incarnate Flemish realism from the 20th Century.
Surrealistic and wonderful elements emanate from the background and landscapes, which portray the characters in a timeless decor.

Sicioldr uses an ancient technique called "delle velature", which consists in painting several layers of paint, one on top of the other, to highlight material and light in the paintings, and give them a realistic look.

Symbolist and timeless characters live in distant atmospheres, like the one of Odilon Redon, their disturbing look is filled with mystery and enigma.
