Vera Di Bianca

Vera Di Bianca is an Italian artist, she graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Rome in 2008, before studying in Paris at Ecole Supérieure des Arts et des Industries Graphiques Estienne in 2010 then at the Sorbonne. She passed her exam to be a Visual Arts teacher in 2014.

While working as a teacher, Vera Di Bianca developed her personal artistic research and worked on issues pertaining to current events especially demonstrations by women and the kidnapping of the two Italian journalists in Baghdad in 2004. These two women were freed 15 days later and this event was a political sizzle in Italy.

She has always been fond of the theme ”women” for most of her artistic production. She received a prize in painting in 2007 in Igualada, Spain and her work has been exhibited during several personal and collective exhibitions in Italy, Spain and Chili.
