Robyn Ward works in mixed media on canvas, combining acrylic, ink, watercolor, oil and spray paint. The initial impression of childhood is subverted by their actions, ironically tilting drug culture, politics, socio-economic issues and contemporary sexual mores.

Ward juxtaposes the cozy world of early childhood with visuals of teenage rebellion and a distinctly grown-up sensibility, to be able to nervously question and send a dark but humorous message.
