Jean Moiras

France Born in: 1945
Jean Moiras is a French painter, born in 1945.

Jean Morais studied at the School of Fine Arts of Paris. Afterwards he developed a completely unique style which initially takes the form of abstract works and later on becomes an oneiric figuration.

During this abstract phase, his works were characterized by a very architectural composition and by the use of bright colors. Later on, and keeping his ability as a colorist, he creates pieces which look familiar, such as the memory of a place or a person, giving to his work a particularly timeless character.

Jean Moiras creates sensible and aesthetic compositions, without abandoning the same colors, shapes and the line.
