Agnès Bouche

Biography
Agnès Bouche is a French visual artists who lives and works in Paris.

She studied at first at the School of Fine Arts of Paris, and then at the Boulle School, at the School of Louvre and finally at the Charpentier Academy.
Once she finished her studies, she left for 12 years in a journey around Europe which took her to Italy and Denmark. In Milan, she worked as an interior designer and fashion stylist, where she learned about the ideas of space, form and volume. This period was very enriching for her.
Once back in France, she decided to dedicate solely to painting. She then joined the House of Artists and became a member fo the Ateliers of Arts of France in 2009.

Agnès Bouche combines sculpture and painting through her creations made of wood, pigments and of resins. Each piece of wood is in fact meticulously cut and sanded before being painted and assembled to the remaining pieces by collage. The designers past is reflected in her precision which is needed in her creations. Nothings is left to chance in Agnes's pieces who prefers to do several drawings of her sculptures before starting their elaboration. The work of the artist is harmonious, in their colors, shapes and volumes.

In 2013, Agnès Bouche participated in the exhibition called "Révélations" which took places at the Grand Palais. She exhibited as well 20 of her pieces at the Palais de Tokyo in 2014.
