Reinaldo Chavez was born in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1978 and studied Fine Arts at the Major University of Saint Andrews.
The celebrated plastic artist Alberto Medina Mendieta comments about Reinaldo Chavez: “Want it or not, art is a faithful reflection of the moment in which it is created, it is the living testimony of the present with a future projection for a knowledge of the past. Reinaldo Chavez has understood this assertion, as his work demonstrates this by being the fit expression of the present, a reflection of our reality. His themes, his forms, his colors, and his textures, are the objects of a strong personality representing his origins, his melieu and his exquisite sensibility to interpret everything he intends to. He possesses great skills that allow him to dominate all techniques without reluctances, taking aside all the specialties that are currently a tether for free expression. He manifests himself in a natural and spontaneous manner, knowing that the artwork flows from within himself, making of him a true creator.”
