Biography

Self-taught and inspired by nature and its symbols, I've been drawing since I was a child. As the daughter of an amateur painter and sculptor, I accompanied my father to his exhibitions and was nourished by this fertile atmosphere.

In the 90s, I designed a number of event posters for various cultural associations. This was followed by a career that, although varied, always gave me the opportunity to express my creativity, particularly through photography and graphic design.

In 2020, my life took a strange turn and I immersed myself in books on philosophy, psychology, neuroscience and spirituality. I need to understand how we humans function! And, above all, what we can do to feel better. Immersing myself in nature and connecting with it is an obvious choice. Not only do I experience it, but neuroscience studies show that anyone who goes for a walk and observes nature, whether they're aware of it or not, feels replenished, energised and soothed. This frees us from intrusive thoughts and makes us more intuitive, as Nature sends back positive vibrations, energies and information.

This almost meditative serenity that allows you to dissolve into the present moment is a state of relaxation that I like to induce through my paintings. That's why my work is partly based on the pointillist technique. The repetition of dots focuses attention. I've seen this at exhibitions. It's as if the viewer is hypnotised. An intimate relationship develops between them and the work, like a bridge linking them to their inner world. In Aboriginal art, the dots recreate the light and correspond to the vibration of a symbolic world where things interpenetrate and influence each other to form a unified vision. Painting is a form of ancestral power that is transmitted from the 'dream' (immaterial, timeless space) to the present and can, among other things, restore a person's spiritual strength.
