Presentation
Born in Paris in 1960, Marion Tivital lives and works in Vincennes.
Its subtle universe takes its source in the underground marks of the interior; his main work focuses on landscapes, built, sometimes industrial, whose melancholy poetry speaks to him a lot.
"This force that inhabits the forms, the calm energy, the plasticity of their almost abstract structures, fascinates me - she writes - and makes me want to listen to their dark language. A beauty emerges, a visible unity and sensitive, out of time. I want to absorb this invisible that is flush with the surface, to untangle these enigmatic lines, to enter into the intimacy of this harmony. Beauty can be found where you least expect it."
For similar reasons, Marion Tivital is also interested in industrial packaging, silent plastic bottles or boxes that populate our daily lives. As for the landscapes, she contemplates what the human hand produces, and offers us this calm and sublimated vision.
Her exhibitions have taken her to Paris, Brussels, Lyon, Karlsruhe, Yvoires, Dieulefit, Lille, New York, San Francisco, London.
