Born in 1965, Slang lives and works in France. Coming from an alternative environment, he constantly explores different artistic universes such as painting, video, installations, 3D digital art, conceptual art ... His curiosity about creativity and the world around us are its only engines. His work has been acquired by three museums in France; Musée Lorrain, Musée des Beaux Arts de Nancy, Musée Georges de La Tour, Vic / Seille, France (one and a half million visitors in 10 years). His work is regularly exhibited and collected in France and abroad: Paris, New York, London, Brussels, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Singapore, Germany, Poland… He takes part in various contemporary art fairs (AAF in London, Amsterdam and Brussels, Salon de Montrouge in Paris, where he was awarded in 2007 “young European creation”). His works appear in several public sales conducted by the Auctioneers, Maîtres Aguttes, Anton, and Cornette de Saint Cyr. His latest works entitled “Aerial” give us real touches of colorful paintings suspended on the canvas. Thanks to the shadows cast finely sprayed, these touches of paint give the illusion of floating on its support. There is no plexiglass or glass. This set gives an illusion of 3rd dimension to abstract painting. Some of these touches of paint can make us think of aerial views of figures on snow.
