Anna Szejdewik

Born in 1982, Anna Szejdewik aka Coxie is a Polish painter and illustrator. She obtained a diploma in painting and interior design from the Fine Arts institute at Zielona Gora University in 2006. She lives and works in Wroclaw, Poland.

Her paintings have some recurring themes: woman, girl, child...The artist loves including questions which associate feminism, femininity and animal rights.

Coxie combines aesthetically pleasing animation with realistic portraits. Her strokes give body to little figures in paper, who make up a fragile and bewitching world, a microcosm of dreams and childhood. Her colors shimmer with joy.
