Biography
AMER, Luis (Barcelona, 1943).
Luis Amer graduated in Barcelona, at the Baixas Academy and at the Superior School of Fine Arts, where he graduated. Later he expanded his studies in the School of Romanesque Art of Sant Cugat del Vallés. He made his individual debut in 1969, and in 1971 began a journey through several European capitals, where he visited numerous museums and completed his training. In addition to the Amigó Cuyas Foundation Scholarship, for the Higher School of Fine Arts, Amer has obtained the following awards: first prize in the Young Painting competition of the Parés hall, the First Prize of the Patronage of the Castle of Montjuic, the silver medal The First Prize (1982) and the Campsa National Prize (1983) and the first prize of the Painting Competition Sant Jordi de Palamós (1984).
