Philippe Laurant was born in 1962 in Versailles - He began painting in the early 1980s - A classically trained artist at the Beaux Arts in Boulogne-sur-Mer, watercolor first became his means of expression - He was fascinated by this fluid, fast and often untamable medium - He perfected this technique through numerous courses with the world's greatest watercolorists (Castanet, Zbukvic, Pekel, Chien Chung Wei, Jasiewicz). - A few years later, he turned to acrylic and oil with equal pleasure and satisfaction - He participated in numerous exhibitions and outdoor painting competitions, and received numerous awards.
