Biography
Ai Madonna is a Japanese artist born in Tokyo in 1984.
Madonna's gouache paintings feature cartoonish subjects which are inspired by her childhood memories. Her work however, expands beyond her paintings and she has published her own Manga, entitled “Hakua", designed costumes for Japanese idols and collaborated with musicians.
Recent solo exhibitions of Madonna's work have been held at Mizuma Art Gallery, Tokyo (2020 and 2019), and she has participated in group exhibitions in Shanghai, Los Angeles, Paris and Bangkok.Â
