Massimo Orsucci

Born in Livorno on 2 April 1946.
On Massimo Orsucci's canvases the color flows without fractures and without interruptions, it spreads out in shades expressing the thrill of the colors that arise from the enchantment of his seas, full of light, savory of brackish, thunderous in the waves under the bruised winds of the libeccio or resting in the slow songs of the undertow.

Precisely for the seduction of these visions "in the open air", in which the sky sometimes seems to be confused with the sea, for its impressionist way of giving color and warmth to the beaches, the shores in the various seasons, at various times of the day, I he liked to define Massimo Orsucci as “the painter of the sea".
