Marcel Timmers is a Dutch sculptor and designer, born in 1971, known for his refined works in stainless steel, bronze, and Corten steel. A former engineer specialized in the development of medical instruments, he has redirected his technical expertise towards art, crafting sculptures with a minimalist aesthetic and exceptional finish.
A self-taught artist, Timmers has developed a visual language focused on form, light, and material, using advanced techniques such as bending, welding, laser cutting, and 3D modeling. His elegant, timeless sculptures draw inspiration from nature, architecture, and explore themes such as serenity, balance, unity, and companionship.
Since 2005, Marcel Timmers has exhibited widely across Europe, with regular solo and group exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany.
