Biography

ILONA SAPKA
studied at the School of Applied Arts, "Schola Posnaniensis" in Poznan. She received her diploma from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of stained glass led by prof. Wojciech Sadley, where she served as an assistant in the years 2001-2006. She practices stained glass and tapestry as well as paintings on paper, canvas and silk.

The artist won the award at the Sixth International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles.
Her works can be found in the collections of, among others, City Museum in Gdynia, Gallery BWA in Pila, the Museum of Wa?brzych, Craft Museum in Krosno and Textile Museum in Lodz.
