Josep Brugalla (Vic, 1935) is a Catalan painter trained at the Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc and further educated through extended study periods in Italy. He was a member of the avant-garde group Los Ocho and took part in major events such as the Hispano-American Art Biennial and the October Salon of Barcelona.
