Biography
Born in 1971, Ludovic Debeurme is an author and illustrator of comic books. After studying art at the Sorbonne, he published his first work Comix 2000 and Céfalus in 2002, Mes Ailes d'Homme in 2003 and many others which have been acclaimed by the critics.
Ludovic Debeurme takes the reader to a poetic almost dreamlike world. Combining perfect graphical technique and narrative talent, the artist evokes in his works the theme of childhood and fantasies. His work combining literature and illustration are dangerously enchanting, to the point that the reader enjoys getting lost in it.
At the top of his career, Ludovic received in 2006, the René Goscinny prize for his work "Lucille" and was selected as one of the 5 top best illustrators of books at the "Festival International de la Bande Dessiné d'Angoulême".
