Luca Nicolao

Lucas Nicolao is a Chilean designer and sculptor. A psychologist by training, he began his career as a ceramicist in 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2018, he trained at Cécile Mestelan's studio in Lisbon and joined Turning Earth Studios in London for a few months in 2019. He lives and works in Chile.

Captivated by the exploration of ceramics as a means of expressing psychological processes, he is interested in concepts such as plasticity, support, inserts and balance, considered essential in the foundation of human confidence and playful skills. Lucas has collaborated with fashion and beauty brands such as Chanel and his work has been published in L'Officiel (Argentina), Más Deco (Chile) and Revista Paula (Chile).
