Biography
LeoNilde Carabba, born in Monza in 1938 and currently living in Milan, likes to describe herself as “a painter and a traveler who loves to explore territories and cross borders.
In 1961 LeoNilde held her first solo exhibitions. The following years saw her more and more deeply involved in the art world, where she had the support and formative influence of artists such as: Lucio Fontana, Hsiao Chin, Roberto Crippa, Enrico Baj, Turcato, Tancredi, Jean Fautrier, Piero Manzoni, Christo and, unique among many men, Carla Accardi, whose strong presence in the field of art reassures her of her right to be there.
