Rosemary Achata’s Works bring us into an enigmatic reflection of the magic Andean thought, showing us with great academic skill, her thoughts, and experiences through her paintings.
Wara Wara invites us to become part of surrealist experiences, taking us through time and space to the Andean landscapes, to a feeling of longing and melancholy characteristic of the cold winds, accompanied by quenas and Andean pan flutes that resound in the distance.
Suddenly, in between fantastic birds, vizcachas and masks, we are invaded by characters recreated by the artist, which remind us of the stories recounted from generation to generation, from grandmother to granddaughter, dancing in between mountain ranges and maybe hiding their true gestures, disguising for a minute the conflicting day by day. Achata achieves with her art to make the viewers dream that they are flying into the Andean highlands through her paintings.
