Biography
“I am a French freelance photographer, graduated in geography, philosophy and journalism. These three disciplines are traveling companions of my travels in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Settled in Istanbul ten years ago, I carried out documentary work in Turkey on nomadic and sedentary gypsies, from Thrace to Mesopotamia.
For several years, in an approach open to the unforeseen, wandering, doubt, I walk during long journeys between the two shores of the Bosphorus, from Sarajevo to Tehran, from Athens to Mosul, in order to compose Chronicles of the East of the Levant. At the same time, I am carrying out a documentary project on the multiple forms that the notion of rurality takes in Charente. It is in this territory, where I partly grew up, that I do my work in the darkroom."
