Thierry Rouxel

Thierry Rouxel is a French artist. Due to his profession in the national and international press, he strode across the world and fell in love with Italy. He lives in Milan.

He began by painting academic canvases in little formats, in the manner of post cards and turned towards bigger formats. An abundance of colors from his travels are now part of his artistic palette. He uses acrylic, pastels, felt tips and sometimes wax. A fan of red and blue, Thierry Rouxel examines the light to capture white. All his works emanate love for painting, art and life under all its aspects. His paintings forges ties with the mundane life, his surroundings, the things one hears, perceives or feels. He uses press in his paintings and creates an anthology, the one of the most lively moments.
