Biography
Steps. Painting has a major influence on my photographic work, in particular painters such as Hopper, Peter Klasen, or Dali have led me to an intellectual and plastic reflection concerning the evolution of my photos. The sometimes saturated colors, the play of light, the contrasts, the use of black and white, the staging, create a dreamlike atmosphere that wants to provoke emotion, confusion by calling the viewer to question his own dreams, fantasies, fears, or frustrations. It is through self-knowledge that Man can hope to access his truth. The essential question that arises is the questioning of objectivity. To sum up, I would say that only our mind builds its own truth. Each photograph is no longer just a simple shot, it is a symbolic story, conceived and reflected. The two recurring themes in the theme of my work are the existential loneliness of Man, but also his quest which could give meaning to life. Biography Very young, I practice painting, colors fascinate me, I use gouache, watercolor, acrylic ... I enroll in two different plastic arts schools. I worked on various supports. It was when I discovered the photographer Man Ray that I decided to approach photography, captivated by the work of this great artist. Regarding my training, it is a professional photographer who taught me the essentials. I started with film that I used for several years, it seemed essential to me to understand this discipline, before going digital.
