Very focused on introspection and observation, the Marseille photographer Samzaï began by capturing the landscapes of the Marseille city in detail, by making pinhole cameras himself. He then naturally turned to film photography, with which he highlights atypical points of view of the region and creates particular atmospheres. Result: powerful compositions with a refined and graphic style, moments of life, comical situations, and always this timeless black and white.
