Pablo Ientile

Born in Argentina in 1978, Pablo Ientile is a Berlin-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice investigates the intersections of identity, memory, and the visual culture of contemporary urban life. Moving fluidly between portraiture, symbolic still life, and spatial abstraction, he has developed a distinctive painterly language in which geometric structures, vibrant chromatic harmonies, and fragmented perspectives converge to articulate the rhythms and contradictions of everyday existence. Originally trained in Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, Germany, Ientile established his career as an illustrator and motion designer before gradually dedicating his practice to painting. This dual background continues to inform his work, where compositional precision coexists with gestural freedom, resulting in images that are both meticulously constructed and emotionally immediate. Rooted in personal observation yet resonating with broader social experience, Ientile's paintings examine how identity is continuously shaped through our environments, habits, and daily rituals. Domestic interiors, urban settings, and carefully selected objects become psychological landscapes in which the boundaries between portrait and still life dissolve. Throughout his recent body of work, plants emerge as recurring motifs—subtle metaphors for resilience, care, belonging, and the fragile balance between human presence and the spaces we inhabit. Rather than depicting fixed narratives, Ientile constructs open visual situations that invite contemplation. His compositions reflect the fragmented nature of contemporary perception while reaffirming painting's capacity to create moments of intimacy and reflection within an increasingly accelerated and digital society. Drawing from both contemporary Cubism and graphic design, his work negotiates a compelling balance between formal rigor and emotional accessibility. Over the past several years, Ientile has established an expanding international presence, particularly across Europe and Asia. His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions at institutions and galleries including Imin Gallery (Tainan), JP Art Gallery (Taiwan), PLAS Art Fair (Seoul), BCMA Berlin, Studio Handsome (Berlin), erstererster gallery (Berlin), One Art Taipei, and the A4 Art Fair (Kuala Lumpur). Alongside his exhibition practice, he has collaborated with international brands including Apple, Adidas, and Li-Ning, while also developing mural projects, artist publications, and collectible toy editions that further extend his visual universe beyond the traditional exhibition space. Living and working in Berlin, Pablo Ientile continues to develop a body of work that bridges fine art and contemporary visual culture.
