Cecilia Cubarle was born in 1975 in Córdoba, Argetina. Between 1994 and 2000 she studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of her hometown University. Once she obtained her Fine Arts degree, she moved to New York where she joined the Arts Student League. Her artistic education includes; drawing, printmaking, sculpture and painting. She currently lives and works in Paris.
Cecilia Cubarle is motivated by her love for life and by her undeniable need to paint. She always adds humor, love, sensibility and precision to her paintings, which give a provocative and fresh approach to her pieces. The observer is like absorbed into a world lacking any logic and saturated with beauty. "My work is like my personal journal" she says.
In 2006, Cecilia Cubarle joined "Les NouveauX pop" a group of ten artists of the new pop art generation- the group included artists such as Maria Manuela, Antonio de Felipe, Philippe Huart and William Sweetlove. Together they have participated in several exhibitions in Europe and Asia.
