Biography

Emma Oliveras is a 26-year-old French photographer currently based in Brussels.
A multidisciplinary artist, she works across the worlds of travel, documentary, photojournalism, and portraiture. Her work is distinguished by a sensitive eye and a deeply human approach to the subjects she explores.
She graduated from the SPEOS International School of Photography, where she earned a degree in photojournalism.
She has collaborated with French media as a press photographer and has distinguished herself through various documentary and travel projects. Among them, "Bedouins," a photo reportage dedicated to the Bedouin community living around the archaeological site of Petra in Jordan, reflects her interest in life stories and evolving cultures.
She has also created a photographic travelogue on Japan, which will soon be published as a book.
Alongside her artistic practice, Emma works in the non-profit sector, where she uses photography as a tool for social connection and knowledge sharing.
